Heaviest Snow Still Expected in Northeast Nebraska

The Omaha National Weather Service office says a winter storm covers much of the region today and tomorrow.

They say the biggest impacts are expected in northeast Nebraska and areas north of there, where 6 to 9 inches of snow could fall.

Along I-80, a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until midday Thursday and that includes Omaha/Council Bluffs.

The Weather Service says mixed precipitation is expected.
