(Polk County, IA) -- The Polk County Emergency Management Agency has activated its Extreme Temperature Weather Plan.
The plan will continue through Friday, February 24th, and during that time, Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority buses will provide free transportation to warming centers throughout the Des Moines metro. A full list of warming centers throughout the metro area is available on the Polk County Emergency Management Agency website.
