(Lincoln, NE) -- A Lincoln police officer is being credited with saving a woman that was sinking to the bottom of a pond inside her car. Police say the woman was driving too fast for the icy roads Wednesday afternoon and crashed into a pond at the Wilderness Ridge Golf Course. Police say Sergeant Tu Tran swam to the woman's car, grabbed her leg from under the water, and pulled her out before her car sank to the bottom. The woman is expected to be ok.
