(Omaha, NE) -- One person is displaced following a house fire Friday afternoon.
The Omaha Fire department says crews responded to a working house fire near 14th and Dorcas around 2:30 Friday afternoon. Once on the scene, fire crews found heavy smoke from a two story home. The fire was located in a bedroom and was contained. OFD says the home sustained heavy damage. The cause is still under investigation.
No one home at the time of the fire and one resident was displaced. One dog died in the fire.
