(Des Moines, IA) — Gravesite decorations will be removed from all City of Des Moines cemeteries starting March 1.
The Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department says people should remove decorations they’d like to keep by February 28. Any remaining decorations will be disposed of.
The city says people can place new decorations on gravesites starting March 17.
