(Iowa) -- Iowa gas prices are down to start the week.
Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded is $3.13 a gallon, down from $3.21 at this time last week. At this time last month, the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa was $3.35 a gallon. Prices vary by region to start the week, with the average price for a gallon of regular in the Des Moines under $3 dollars a gallon at $2.98. In the Quad Cities area, the average price for regular is $3.10 a gallon, and in the Cedar Rapids area, a gallon of regular costs $3.11.
