(Iowa City, IA) -- A road construction project is expected to affect travel in Iowa City over the next several weeks.
Traffic heading west on Melrose Avenue will be reduced to a single lane stretching from Hawkeye Park Road to Camp Cardinal Boulevard. The stretch of single-lane traffic will move as the project continues. Construction will be underway during daylight hours, with the goal of installing new underground communication lines.
The project is expected to be completed by Monday, April 17th.
