(Des Moines, IA) -- Multiple people were detained on the South Side of Des Moines after a shooting. The shooting occurred in the 1500 block of Evergreen Avenue Sunday afternoon. Police reported one person was injured. The injuries appeared not to be life-threatening according to Des Moines Police. Officers recovered a firearm related to the shooting. DMPD says in a press release that no apparent threat is ongoing in this case.
