(Silvis, IL) -- The boil order in Silvis will be lifted Saturday afternoon after a water main break.
The Silvis Fire Department says the the water main break has been repaired and was not caused by the recent connection to Moline's water system but was instead caused by an increase in pressure from the water tower. The boil order remains in place for now but will be lifted Saturday afternoon. The city says residents may temporarily experience low water pressure throughout the day Saturday.
