(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Police Department is holding a recruiting open house on Wednesday, March 15th.
Attendees will have a chance to meet and talk with police officers in various roles throughout the police department including:
- Patrol Officers
- K9
- Community Outreach
- Vice & Narcotics Investigators
- Robbery & Homicide Detectives
- Traffic Unit
- Academy Staff
The open house will be held from 3pm-7pm at the Des Moines Regional Police Academy at 433 SE Army Post Road. Those interested in joining the Des Moines Police Department can apply through the City of Des Moines website.
