Law enforcement reports three children are safe after a vehicle they were in was stolen from a northwest Metro Omaha residence early Friday morning.
Douglas County Sheriff's Deputies and Omaha Police rushed to the area of 82nd and Potter around 6:20 a.m.
They say the vehicle, which was running, was taken from a driveway.
Investigators and 9-1-1 communications indicate the suspect abandoned the vehicle near 76th and Vane Streets, and that is when the kids were recovered.
