(Des Moines, IA) -- The John Pat Dorrian Trail will be closed from March 27 to July 30 for work on the Levee Alterations.
The Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department says the trail will reopen with brand-new asphalt paving.
The city estimates that the Levee Alterations Project will be completed by 2028.
