Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.16 a gallon, down from $3.18 a gallon at this time last week. Prices for a gallon of regular unleaded vary regionally across the state, including:
- Des Moines: $3.13
- Ames: $3.26
- Cedar Rapids: $3.14
- Iowa City: $3.25
- Council Bluffs: $3.07
- Quad Cities (Iowa Side): $3.20
- Quad Cities (Illinois Side): $3.53
- Dubuque: $3.36
- Sioux City: $3.12
- Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.18
The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.43.
