That's according to WalletHub, which also says Nebraska's overall tax burden is 4th highest in the Midwest, behind Iowa, Illinois, and Minnesota. WalletHub says Nebraska's highest taxes are property taxes, 9th highest in the U.S. Nebraska also has the 24th highest individual income tax burden and the 36th highest total sales and excise tax burden.
