(Iowa City, IA) -- Doug Shulnut, manager of Iowa Book in Iowa City says they noticed sales of Hawkeye Women's Basketball merchandise start to rise around the time the women won the Big 10 Championship. Shulnut says now that the Iowa Women are in the Final Four of the NCAA Tourney, demand has exploded. He says alumni are especially eager to get merchandise to commemorate the team's success this season, as well as the success of star player Caitlin Clark.
He say most customers are buying extra t-shirts for their friends as well, so many that employees are spending quite a bit of time restocking shelves.
The Iowa Women play defending champs South Carolina Friday night.
