DES MOINES, Iowa -- The Principal Charity Classic golf tournament is staying in Des Moines for five more years.
Principal Financial Group announcing the extension on Wednesday.
The PGA Tour's Champions tournament has been played in Des Moines since 2001, with Principal becoming the title sponsor in 2007.
Principal says event has raised nearly $46 million for children's charities since 2007--bringing in more than $8 million last year.
The 2023 Principal Charity Classic will be played May 31st through June 4th at the Wakonda Club in Des Moines.
