(Grimes, IA) -- The city of Grimes is giving an update on the SE Jacob Street reconstruction project.
The city says work on the final two phases will start on Monday, April 10th. During that time, SE Jacob Street will be closed from SE 4th Street to E 1st Street until early June. The reconstruction project will improve drainage on that section of the street after the installation of a new watermain a couple of years ago. Updates on the project are available one the city of Grimes website.
