Nebraska Governor Jim Pillen this afternoon is scheduled to name a replacement for a State Senator, who has resigned from the Unicameral.
Suzanne Geist announces she is stepping down from the Legislature to focus on her campaign for Lincoln Mayor.
She represented the District 25 seat in the Legislature.
Geist opposes incumbent Lincoln Mayor Leirion Gaylor Baird in the May General Election in the Capital City.
