(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A controlled burn will take place in Cedar Rapids today after being rescheduled due to weather concerns.
The Cedar Rapids Fire Department and Cedar Rapids Parks and Recreation Department will conduct the burn near the McGrath Amphitheater.
Both departments say controlled burns are necessary for prairie health and management.
