(Vinton, IA) -- Trial is underway for a North Liberty man accused of helping his girlfriend kill her stepmother.
Jury selection for the trial began Monday with Tacoa Talley charged with first-degree murder.
Court documents say Talley and Samantha Bevens planned to kill and rob Jodie Bevans at her home in Palo.
The two are accused of killing Jodie Bevens on July 14th.
Samantha Bevens is charged with first-degree murder, her trial is set to start in September.
