(Iowa) -- A new national survey ranks Iowa in the bottom half of the greenest states in the country.
WalletHub ranked all 50 states looking at three dimensions: Environmental Quality, Eco-Friendly Behaviors, and Climate Change Contributions. Iowa came in at 30th on the list based on those factors.
The top five greenest states include:
- Vermont
- New York
- California
- Hawaii
- Maryland
