(Marengo, IA) -- The C6-Zero plant in Marengo misses more deadlines from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Plant owner Howard Brand agreed to terms in a lawsuit filed by Attorney General Brenna Bird, which ordered C6-Zero to clean up the site of the December 8 explosion that hurt 15 people.
Brand has since failed to meet terms, including cleaning residual water in the detention basin and paying a company more than $300,000 to do work around the plant site.
