(Moline, IL) -- A community garden is coming to Moline’s Floreciente neighborhood.
The University of Illinois Extension is partnering with the Esperanza Center for the project.
The Floreciente Community Garden Youth Club will hold its first meeting April 29th, during the Build a Bed event.
The club will teach kids between the ages of 8 and 18 how to maintain a vegetable garden and provide community service to their neighborhood.
