(Johnston, IA) -- Residents of Johnston can drop off old tires and tree branches for free today through Saturday.
The city of Johnston says residents can drop off those items at the Public Works Facility at 6400 NW Beaver Drive during the following times:
- Thursday, April 20th from 8am to 8pm
- Friday, April 21st from 8am to 3:30pm
- Saturday, April 22nd from 8am to noon
The city says residents must bring an ID to prove their residency. Branches cannot be larger than 18 inches in diameter, and only residential and passenger truck tires will be accepted. More information is available on the city of Johnston website.
