Lincoln man arrested in connection to Sunday morning shooting

(Lincoln, NE) -- A Lincoln man is arrested in connection to a triple shooting.

Lincoln Police say in the early morning hours on Sunday, three people were shot in the 3200 block of Portia Street. LPD says 35 year old Tramel Patterson, who was one of three people who showed up at a local hospital with gunshot wounds, has been arrested in connection to the shooting.

Investigators say officers found numerous 9mm casings at the scene and through their investigation, they found that Patterson had been one of the people who fired a gun at the scene. Patterson was arrested for – discharging a firearm at an occupied vehicle or dwelling, felon in possession of a firearm, use of firearm to commit a felony and 2nd degree assault.
