(Sarpy County, NE) -- A motorcyclist is killed in a Sarpy County crash.
The Sarpy County Sheriff's Office says just after 1:15 Friday afternoon, deputies along with Gretna Fire and Rescue were called to the ramp from Highway 50 to westbound Highway 370 for a crash involving a motorcycle and a tow truck. Investigators say the motorcycle was southbound on Highway 50, when it hit the northbound tow truck that was turning onto westbound Highway 370.
The motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The tow truck driver was not injured. No other details have been released at this time. The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office asks any witnesses to contact their Crash Response Unit at (402) 593-1546.
