(Davenport, IA) -- The National Weather Service Quad Cities' newest flood forecast now predicts a higher crest.
NWS says the river at Lock and Dam 15 is expected to crest in the 21 to 23-foot range by early May.
The record crest was 22.7 feet set in 2019.
The most recent forecast is based on snowpack melt from up north and recent precipitation.
