(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A man's facing murder and robbery charges in a January homicide in SW Cedar Rapids. Police have arrested 22-year-old Jeremiah Coop. He's accused of shooting Mohamed Tawfik on January 8th, 2023. Police say Tawfik was found shot January 8th, behind the wheel of a car in the 5600 block of Kirkwood Blvd. SW. Tawfik died at a hospital.
Police arrested Paris Diamond February 3rd. Diamond is facing similar charges.
