(Rock Island, IL) -- The Rock Island County coroner is identifying the body of a man found in the Mississippi River.
Police say 83-year-old Yosefu Bazaniye of Rock Island was found dead on the shore of the Mississippi Monday afternoon near the 2000 block of 1st Avenue.
According to the coroner, the preliminary cause of death is presumed drowning.
Rock Island Police say they're still investigating the case.
