Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.40 a gallon, down 11 cents from this time last week. Gas prices for a gallon of regular unleaded vary regionally across the state:
- Des Moines: $3.27
- Ames: $3.41
- Cedar Rapids: $3.39
- Iowa City: $3.46
- Council Bluffs: $3.42
- Sioux City: $3.49
- Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.38
- Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.81
- Dubuque: $3.51
- Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.39
The average price for regular unleaded is $3.61 a gallon.
