Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.29 a gallon, a drop of 11 cents from this time last week. Prices for a gallon of regular vary regionally across the state, including:
- Des Moines: $3.14
- Ames: $3.37
- Iowa City: $3.43
- Cedar Rapids: $3.26
- Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.25
- Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.77
- Dubuque: $3.41
- Sioux City: $3.40
- Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.25
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded nationally is $3.53.
