The 2023 Omaha Mavericks are Summit League Softball Champions after defeating South Dakota State in the Summit League title game.
With the postseason conference tournament victory leading to an automatic bid, Omaha clinches its first DI NCAA Tournament berth in program history.
The Mavs will be in the Baton Rouge Regional and will play the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Friday at two p.m.
The game will be on ESPN+.
LSU and Prairie View A&M play at five p.m. on Friday.
The Nebraska softball team will compete in the NCAA Regional in Stillwater, Okla., taking on Wichita State this Friday at 6 p.m. on ESPNU.
Oklahoma State will play UMBC at three p.m.
