Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.40 a gallon, up 7 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:
- Des Moines: $3.46
- Ames: $3.39
- Cedar Rapids: $3.41
- Iowa City: $3.43
- Cedar Falls/Waterloo: $3.40
- Dubuque: $3.51
- Quad Cities (Iowa Side): $3.35
- Quad Cities (Illinois Side): $3.76
- Sioux City: $3.40
- Council Bluffs: $3.25
The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.54 a gallon.
