(Davenport, IA) -- A third suspect has been convicted in the death of a Davenport teen back in 2021.
Police John Hanes the Third was found guilty of first-degree murder in the shooting death of 14-year-old Jamon Winfrey on February 24, 2021.
Another suspect, Javon Combs accepted a plea deal earlier this month and became a witness for Hanes' trial.
Chrystian Smith, the last suspect, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in February of this year.
