(Marshalltown, IA) -- One person is dead and another is seriously hurt after a shooting in Marshalltown.
Police say they got a call Wednesday evening about shots fired at a home.
They say a 57-year-old woman, suffering from a gunshot wound died at the scene.
Police also found a 72-year-old man with life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The man is being treated at a Des Moines hospital.
Police say a gun was found at the scene.
They are not actively looking for anyone else in connection to the shooting and say there is no threat to the public.
