(Omaha, NE) -- Bridge closures will affect travel on the North Freeway this summer. The Nebraska Department of Transportation is spending $25-million over the next 18 months fixing bridges along three miles of Highway 75. The DOT says these are the first big repairs being made to the bridges since they first opened in the 1980's. The last of the repairs are scheduled to be made in the fall of 2024.
