(Springfield, IL) -- The Illinois EPA is issuing an air quality alert for today in the state.
The EPA is encouraging Illinois residents to use caution when outdoors as air quality conditions could pose a potential health hazard to sensitive populations.
They say all residents should try to keep cool and limit physical activity when air quality is low.
