(Des Moines, IA) -- U.S. Representative Zach Nunn (R-IA) says Florida Governor and GOP presidential candidate Ron DeSantis, and U-S Senator Joni Ernst will be at his inaugural annual event, Operation Tom Nunn: Salute to the Troops.
The event will be on July 15, 2023, at the Ankeny Regional Airport from 1-3 PM.
“As fellow veterans, Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Joni Ernst are going to be great wingmen at the first Operation Top Nunn: Salute to the Troops event,” said Congressman Zach Nunn. “Iowans are fired up to hear from DeSantis and I’m honored to have Senator Joni Ernst join me in welcoming him back to Iowa.”
A portion of the ticket sales from Operation Top Nunn will go to Salute to the Fallen, an Iowa veterans organization that supports veteran mental health and preventing veteran suicide.
Nunn, of Polk County, was elected to the U-S House in 2022.
