(Vinton, IA) -- An Iowa man is dead after a construction accident involving a dump truck and a tracked skid steer.
Vinton police say 61-year-old Ronald Preece from Cedar Falls was working on the dump truck when the skid steer backed into him.
The operator told police he didn't see him.
Preece was taken to a local emergency room where he died from his injuries.
