(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- ITC Midwest is moving its Cedar Rapids headquarters.
The regional transmission company purchased a facility in the redeveloping Westdale Mall area.
The company's previous Cedar Rapids location at the Palmer Building employed about 80 people, and the new facility will have space for at least 120 employees.
ITC Midwest operates the regional high-voltage power grid with more than 6,600 circuit miles of transmission lines in Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, and Missouri.
Renovations are expected to be complete by the summer of 2024, and the move to the new office in the fall of next year.
