Mandatory Water Reduction In Place In Parts Of Lancaster County

(Lancaster Co., NE) -- Parts of Lancaster County are under a mandatory water reduction order. The Lancaster Rural Water District says customers need to reduce sprinkler usage by 50% because of low water levels in its elevated towers. The utility company says if water isn't reduced it could ban sprinkling for the rest of the year. The Lancaster Rural Water District manages areas southeast of Lincoln.
