(Lee County, IA) -- The Iowa State Patrol says one person is dead after a crash in Lee County on Saturday.
Investigators say the crash happened around noon on Saturday at the intersection of Highway 16 and 205th Street. The crash involved two vehicles, an SUV and a large waste management truck, and the driver of the SUV was ejected from the vehicle. Investigators say that person was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
So far, the victim's identity has not been released.
