Omaha Police say they have made an arrest in connection with a homicide from September of last year.
Investigators say 19-year old Marsavion Watson is now in custody for first degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony in connection with the death of 20-year-old Derrick Hayes, Jr.
Police say the victim had suffered a gunshot wound and was found in the area of 52nd and Boyd Streets.
Derrick Hayes Jr was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
