The accident on I-80 near West Branch has been cleared and traffic is flowing normally as of 5 p.m.

(West Branch, IA) -- A fiery crash has caused a major slowdown on I-80 near West Branch. An Iowa DOT webcam earlier showed black smoke billowing into the air near the crash, it's unknown at this time how many vehicles are involved and if there are any injuries. Westbound I-80 traffic is being detoured off I-80 to U.S. 6 as of 3:30 p.m.
KGAN Iowa's News Now reports Multiple fire trucks are on scene.
