(Springfield, IL) -- The Illinois State Police will increase their presence and patrols during the Fourth of July weekend.
Police will be on the watch for seatbelt violations, motorists speeding, and impaired drivers.
During the Independence Day holiday last year, 20 people lost their lives on Illinois roads.
