(Eldridge, IA) -- No one is hurt after a chlorine leak led to the evacuation of several blocks in Eldridge.
Police cleared out North 5th and 6th Streets between West Davenport and Donahue Streets Thursday morning.
The City of Eldridge Water Plant detected the leak while an employee performed routine operations.
The employee called 911 and the plant was evacuated.
After three hours, residents were allowed to their homes.
