(Undated) -- Nebraska has some of the cheapest energy costs in the nation. That's according to WalletHub, which says Nebraska's energy costs are 4th-lowest on average and lowest in the Midwest. WalletHub says the average Nebraskan pays $384 a month for electricity, natural gas, home heating oil, and motor fuel. Nebraska also has the lowest home heating oil prices and the 4th-lowest electricity prices. Meanwhile, Iowa has the 8th-highest energy costs at an average of $552 a month. WalletHub says Washington D.C. has the cheapest energy costs while Wyoming has the most expensive. A full list of states is available here.
