(Des Moines, IA) -- Construction at the Center Street Dam will mean noticeably lower water levels starting Monday morning and lasting about a day and a half.
The lower water levels could affect boaters on the Des Moines River and Birdland Marina.
In case of bad weather, the start of the project will be moved to Wednesday.
