(Bettendorf, IA ) -- A local non-profit has donated thousands of dollars to community organizations.
The Quad Cities Community Foundation’s Teens for Tomorrow program consists of local high schoolers learning philanthropy.
This year, they raised a record $38,000 dollars to eight Quad Cities non-profits.
The high schoolers focused on four areas to improve: victims of domestic violence, immigration support, homelessness, and food insecurity.
