(Stanton, NE) -- A man is airlifted the hospital after investigators say an explosive may have went off in his car near Stanton in northeast Nebraska. The Stanton County Sheriff's Office says the explosion happened just after midnight this morning and may have been caused by a firework or homemade explosive. The man is in the hospital in York with traumatic injuries.
